This view down the Ogwen Valley takes in both the craggy face of Y Foel Goch and the iconic profile of its more famous neighbour, Tryfan, the north ridge of which is a challenging scramble. It shouldn't be attempted without serious consideration and I confess that I have found myself in a sticky situation on it in the past.
