This view will be known to pretty much anyone who has ever visited Snowdonia. On a very cold winter's evening as the sun goes down, we are stood just outside Capel Curig and looking across frozen Llynau Mymbyr towards the Snowdon horseshoe. On a sunny day, it's guaranteed that you will be one of many people stopping by to photograph or paint the scene. The prominent peaks are Y Lliwedd, Snowdon and Crib Goch.
