The Hebog range is something of an outlier and as such seems to form a distant backdrop to so many of my paintings of north Snowdonia, Here though, it was much closer to hand and Moel Hebog, the largest peak, turns red as the first rays of the breaking dawn catch it's eastern flank.  This view is from the edge of the village of Beddgelert.
