This is probably my favourite place in northern Snowdonia. It had been a hurried climb up from the valley below to try and catch the first light of day and I just about made it in time. Castell y Gwynt ("Castle of the Winds") is a fantastical rock formation that sits on top of Glyder Fach. The view is particularly special because the Snowdon horseshoe can be seen in the background.
