Artists talk about the "golden hour"; the period after dawn and before sunset when the light is at its most spectacular. However, I am even more particular and like to seek out the "golden moment", just as the sun rises above the horizon and casts the landscape in an ethereal glow. It literally lasts no longer than that. Here, I have captured Arenig Fawr in central Snowdonia, framed by a foreground that is still in shadow.

If an original painting is sold, I clearly state that this is the case in brackets ( ) after the title. If the drop-down menu says that an unsold original is "out of stock", this means that it is currently on display in a third-party gallery and the description below the image will usually say exactly where. Please contact me if you're interested in such a painting.
