This view is west from Pen Y Gadair, the highest point on Cadair Idris. This morning, fog fills the valleys and it is only the highest peaks that protrude above it, themselves covered in snow, ice and frost. The cliffs in the foreground are called Cyffrwy and are a popular destination for rock climbers. In the distance, the fog continues out into the Irish Sea.
