My improvers workshops are for people who've used pastels before but are looking to develop their skills. You might be someone who's just started out on your pastel journey or you might be a more established artist who is keen to pick up some new tips and tricks from another pastellist.

You will be part of a group of no more than 3 people. We'll spend the day completing a painting together from photographs. For this workshop we will be painting "Anglesey Sunset", the sunset seascape that is shown on the booking page.  Everything you need for the workshop is provided, including professional standard artist's materials, lunch and refreshments. However, you are welcome to bring your own pastels, paper or ther materials if you prefer.

Glasfryn Hall is the home, studio and gallery of your host, Dave Roberts, a professional pastel artist who specialises in painting the landscapes of North Wales.

The workshop is suitable for ages 12+.

Glasfryn Hall is just 2 minutes off the A55 North Wales Expressway and is less than an hour from Liverpool and Manchester by car. Flint train station (west coast mainline) is 20 minutes away.
