Elidir Fawr is the most northerly mountain in the Glyderau range. It always looks like an ominously steep climb from this position near the summit of Foel Goch but its actually not as bad a hike as it appears. Here the, low sun of a late winter's afternoon has created a colourful scene, with the numerous gulleys cast in shadow.
